Our first ever Christmas market at Teasses in 800 years will be held on Saturday 7th & Sunday the 8th of December. we are absolutely thrilled to be hosting this first event in a full calendar of events for 2020.
We’ve worked really hard to put together a fantastic group of makers, producers, growers and boilers to bring to our visitors a great Christmas Shopping experience.
The market opens at noon each day and closes at six to give you the chance to enjoy some festive lighting around the place and finishes in plenty of time for you to visit our friends at New Gilston Village Hall.
Bowbridge Alpacas will not only have a stall selling products from their local Alpaca farm but they will also be attending with two humans to keep an eye on the three alpacas who will be at the market on Saturday and Sunday. We are really excited to welcome the Alpacas too Teasses..what’s more festive than three South American camelids!
Aloe Vera Forever Living by Tanya are attending the market on Saturday and will have a range of Aloe Vera derived products for sale from beauty and wellness products to dietary products and drinks.
Langston Farm are based in Angus and will be attending the market on Saturday and Sunday. Nick and Lucy have established a small farm raising top quality rare breed livestock and making some of the finest butchery products I’ve ever tasted. Look out for their Claret Lorne sausage.
Lucky Ewe Dairy produce creamy, rich soft sheep’s cheese from their flock of Lacaune x East Friesland ewes. Joan will be selling the labour of her ewe’s efforts in the Marquee on Saturday.
Erincroft Bakery will be attending the market on Sunday, selling their beautifully home made breads and cakes. Don’t miss them!
Kilted Fudge will be making their way from Aviemore to bring their delicious treats to the market on both days.
Good Life Farming produce ethical veal and have been a big hit on the market scene this year. Karen will be at the market both days so don’t miss the chance to stock the freezer with delicious, local and ethical veal.
Woodmill Shooting Ltd. ’tis the season to stock your larder with game pies and butchery. Guy at Woodmill makes delicious golden topped game pies which are ideal for the Boxing Day walk. Guy will be attending both days of the market so make sure to visit his stand in the Marquee.
Perc U Up will be keeping us warm and fuelled for both days of the market. From her little van Erin has the vital responsibility of selling teas and coffees to our visitors. Erin will be at the Turning Circle so that you can’t miss her.
Lindores Abbey Distillery are with us on Saturday sharing with us their beautiful Aqua Vitae. A really wonderfully scented alcohol which is ideal for Christmas.
Tayport Distillery use locally sourced Scottish produce to flavour their original spirit, Kecia and her team will be attending the market on both days.
Cairn O’Mhor remain to be a popular trader at markets across the country selling their own unique fruit wines and ciders. Catch Cairn O’Mhor on Saturday in the Marquee.
Peglanders are a creative craft stall where Mark will be selling his Peg Dolls of recognisable Scottish highlanders. A great gift idea for friends and family living away fro home to remind them of Scotland’s traditions.
Cottage Seven Designs Naomi is fairly new to the market scene but her textile noticeboards will help getting organised for the new year an awful lot easier.
Wooltide woollen animals in a multitude of different forms are what Jen does. Commission a piece of original woollen work or pick up gifts from her stall in the Stables on Sunday.
Howe Crafti Jacqui creates wonderful textile craft products which will fill the Christmas stockings and more. Find Jacqui at the market on Saturday.
Inky Works these beautifully detailed works and prints by Ros MacDonald are exceptional. Ros creates these in her studio in Angus and takes inspiration from the coastline and nature of Scotland. Ros’ stall will be in the Stables/Garage on Saturday.
Mark Holden is a local artists whose involvement in the community extends for years. His work is inspired by the East Neuk of Fife. Mark will be attending both days of the market.
Shed Heaven Kay creates wonderful decorations and crafts from glass. Kay will be trading from her stall in the Stables on Saturday.
Patricia Griffin creates beautiful, delicate textiles and accessories. Patricia will be at the market on Saturday.
Silver Binky original silver jewellery, Gill’s shop on Etsy prices popular but for the weekend have the opportunity to buy directly from the artist.
Suzi Blue Jewellery is created by Susan who makes gorgeous jewellery combining bright metal and polished pearls and shell.
RosieMays home furnishings bring shabby-chic to a new level. Their beautifully painted and crafted home furnishings will make ideal gifts for Christmas. Rosie and May will be trading from the Stables pop-up Shop for both days of the weekend.
